Le Breton Yachts has assembled a phenomenally talented design team.

Van Peteghem Lauriot Prevost (VPLP) is one of the world’s foremost multihull design firms, responsible for yachts ranging from ORMA60 trimarans to luxury custom catamarans. The architects have combined the very latest in racing multihull design and technology with modern styling and comforts.

Their latest creation, Groupama 3, is currently holder of two transatlantic records (east and westwards) and of the 24hour speed record, of 795nm, at an average speed of over 33knots!

Bjorn Johansson has created yachts ranging from 12 metre production boats to superyachts up to 80metres (e.g. Ilona of Kylesku, Marlena and the award winning Mirage). The emphasis of his beautiful interior is on simple, lightweight luxury.

One of Bjorn’s latest designs is an 85m (300ft) super-yacht currently under construction by oceAnco in the Netherlands

Legendary sailor Bruno Peyron is the current holder of the round the world record aboard his most recent mega-cat Orange 2. He has held this record three times, and has also held the transatlantic and 24hr speed records on several occasions.
As the technical consultant for the project, he has applied his extensive multihull racing experience to optimising the design, and is responsible for the rig and deck layout.
