Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Le Breton Yachts would like to wish you a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year, and plenty of fast sailing in 2012!

Hard-top Bimini

The next SIG45 will feature a removable, adjustable hard-top carbon fibre bimini. This bimini will be usable both when at anchor and when sailing. The bimini will have an “up position” with full standing headroom used when at rest, with a fabric connector between the two halves to provide complete shade. The adjustable gooseneck on the Marstrom mast allows the boom to be raised to above head height. While sailing, the boom and bimini will be in the lowered position. The bimini also features a windscreen, which can be stored on top of the bimini when not in use.

SIG45 Build Progress

The build of our latest boat is coming along beautifully. We are on target for a January 2012 launch.

The attached pictures show the high quality of the interior cabinetry and paint. All of the cabinetry is made of ultra light weight aerospace grade nomex panels. The countertops will be coated with Polystone, an aerospace grade granite substitute, which provides a highly resistant, attractive, but light weight surface.

Kind regards,

Hugo Le Breton
